What is manual winding?
Manual motor winding is a technology that embeds coils into the motor by hand. It is suitable for special motors or small scale production.
1. Preparations: Winding coils to design specs, ensuring size, turns, and insulation meet standards. Place insulating material in core slots to prevent short circuits.
2. Wire insertion process: Insert one end of the coil into the core slot, use a winding rod to push the wire to the bottom, ensuring even distribution.
3. Insulating and securing: Insert wedges into slots and secure coils bind coil ends with insulated wire for firmness and insulation.
Precise quality checks are carried out at the end of the process to ensure that there are no errors.

What is automatic winding?
Automatic motor embedding is a process of high efficiency, quality and consistency by accurately inserting the coil into the motor core groove through automated equipment.
1. Preparations: Ensure that the core groove is clean and burr-free, and the coil is wound according to the design requirements to ensure that the size and insulation performance meet the standard.
2. Automatic embedding: An automatic wire embedding machine is used to insert the coil into the core groove, and the equipment ensures accuracy through sensors and control systems.
3. Insulation treatment: After the wire is embedded, it is insulated to prevent short circuit. Finally, the coil position and insulation properties are checked, and trimmed if necessary.

Conclusion
In summary, manual and automatic winding have distinct strengths, with the choice depending on production scale, precision, cost, and flexibility. Manual winding, relying on skilled craftsmanship, suits small-batch, custom, or intricate motor projects—offering low initial investment and adaptability but needing expert operators and longer lead times for large volumes.
