LISU MOTOR: Key Routine Tests Every Finished Motor Must Pass Before Shipment

Before packing and shipment, every completed industrial motor goes through mandatory routine tests at the end of our production line. These checks help catch hidden issues that may not be visible from simple visual appearance.

Our standard routine tests cover six core items: insulation resistance test, high-voltage withstand test, no-load noise test, vibration measurement, shaft run-out check, and nameplate parameter verification.

- Insulation resistance and high-voltage withstand tests confirm winding insulation safety against electric breakdown.

- No-load noise and vibration tests identify abnormal assembly gaps or unbalanced rotors.

- Shaft run-out inspection guarantees mechanical precision for coupling and equipment matching.

- Final nameplate check ensures model, voltage, frequency and rating match customer order requirements.

There is a clear industry gap between sampling inspection and 100 % full inspection. Many small-and-medium manufacturers adopt random sampling only for cost and efficiency reasons. Some will skip high-voltage withstand, vibration or shaft run-out tests entirely. Defective products can slip through and cause unexpected downtime for end-users overseas.

At our factory, every single unit receives the full set of above-mentioned tests, not just random samples. Any motor that fails one or more test items will be marked and separated immediately. Technicians will troubleshoot, rework and retest it. Units that cannot be repaired to qualified standards will be scrapped. No defective motors are allowed to enter export packaging or shipment for foreign orders.

These repeated routine checks add production time and cost, yet they lower field failure risks for distributors and end-plant customers. Rigorous pre-shipment testing is how we keep consistent quality for bulk overseas motor orders.
